Emily Allina, NP-C

-Specialties include emergency medicine, urgent care, integrative & longevity medicine, and regenerative medicine.

Emily is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Indiana University in 2001 and  her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree graduating with academic honors from California State University in 2011 with an academic concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) studies.

After graduation, Emily's  main area of practice was  in emergency medicine (12 years)  and until recently she worked  part-time in the ER at Northern Nevada Medical Center (Sparks) and Northern Nevada Sierra Medical Center (South Reno). She also has several years experience in primary care, urgent care, and psychiatric medication management. Prior to moving to NV in 2021, Emily worked in inpatient medicine as a hospitalist at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. 

Emily is certified as an Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS)  provider through WMS, and has extensive training and continuing education in advanced metabolic endocrinology and integrative medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (A4M), AOAPRM, Harvard University, Elite NP training, HRT University, and the American Academy for Environmental Medicine.

During her time-off Emily enjoys skiing, sailing, tennis, camping (pretty much all outdoor Tahoe activities), and any travel adventure! She is one of the medical providers for the Reno Ice hockey team, and is also a volunteer member of the Washoe County Sheriff's search and rescue HASTY technical rescue team and the Placer County Sheriff's search and rescue dive team.
