What can Cellustrious®, PRP, and AF do for me?
The sooner you catch your hair loss, the better. Hair loss is progressive – it only gets worse with time. The loss didn’t happen overnight, and it won’t improve overnight...THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES...and hair loss is a SYMPTOM, NOT THE PROBLEM.
If you’ve tried other treatments, drugs, or even surgery and failed, you should respond to Cellustrious®, PRP, and AF treatments. Many hair loss sufferers have the hair cycle disrupted by an increase in DHT (dihydrotestosterone), loss of connective integrity surrounding the hair follicle, and an increase of the inflammatory process, as well as oxidative stress in the scalp. With age, the decreased number and size of hair follicles in the scalp will lead to thinner hair and increased loss.

Is Cellustrious® similar to PRP?
There are no injections required with Cellustrious®. We use a proprietary micro-needling device that utilizes microfine needles which gently puncture the scalp, which the body recognizes as "injury". This "perceived injury" causes the body to begin neurovascularization, and to produce collagen and growth factor. While the body is in this state it is open to receive the Cellustrious® serum, which includes peptides and cytokines that were developed to target the triggers of hair loss.
Are these procedures safe?
Yes. Because we don’t ablate the top layers of skin, the risk of infection is minimized and inflammation time is greatly reduced, especially when compared to other options. Injection site infection is uncommon. All equipment is pre-packaged, sterilized, and discarded after each use.
What is the recovery time and what will I look like when the procedure is done?
Most people experience a small amount of bleeding and occasional redness similar to a sunburn, which lasts for a few hours to one day (depending on the individual). You will be unable to wash your hair for several hours, but you will be able to return to your daily routine immediately.
Are these procedures painful?
Most describe it as a pin-prick sensation, and find it very tolerable. To ensure comfort, we numb the scalp. If you require additional medication for comfort, consult your healthcare provider.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments depends upon the desired results for hair loss, the amount of hair loss, and your presenting physical health. We normally see visible results within 3-4 treatments, but every individual is different. The Cellustrious® at-home protocol supports the in-office treatments and can help achieve faster results.
Once treatments are completed, results can be maintained with at-home treatments and a healthy lifestyle. Bi-annual in-office maintenance is recommended.
